Tamba Abdulai Foundation have launched the distribution of scholarships materials to 101 students enrolled into the program for the 2017/2018 academic year. Pupils were supplied with uniforms, books, pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, Sharpeners and a receipt of full payment of school charges for the current school year. The pupils enrolled in this program are from the following villages:

Gbukuma, Mansundu ,Dandandor, Dakafeh, Bendu II InTutufarma, Dunamore, Bekondu, Quidadu ,Bayama and Kaiendor Village.

There are a total 101 students enrolled, out of which 74 are girls and 27 are boys.

16 Secondary School students enrolled in which 13 are girls and 3 are boys

This occasion was done at the K.D.E.C Primary School-Gbukuma Village, Gbense chiefdom, Kono District. This event attracted people from the Ministry of Social welfare, Kono District, the Media, Gbense Chiefdom Authorities and the Sierra Leone Youth Exchange Study (YES) Alumni and many others.

We want to extend great thanks to all of those who have supported the foundation to reach this level, be it financially, morally or any other form. We have put mechanism in place to ensure that we continue to monitor the performance and attendance of our students enrolled by visiting their respective schools, have dialogue with the pupils individually, held meeting with class teachers and parents to ensure that our students are doing well in their academic work
